Users need simply add one 3.5" ATA Hard Disk Drive to their Network environments to establish an economical and powerful solution for setting up FTP servers, Samba servers, and DHCP servers that can accommodate up to 64 on-line clients. In addition to networking functions, CNet LAN Disk CLD-101 also offers a USB 2.0 type B interface ideal for easy access on individual computers. Supporting a transfer rate of up to 480Mbps, media drives such as CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, tape drives, and hard disk drives can be used in USB 2.0 type B mode.
