With its built-in Power-over-Ethernet (PoE, IEEE 802.3af) feature, it allows 4x PoE injectors to link with devices, enabling device integration through its data switching capability.

In addition, the CSH-800P offers 10/100 Auto-Negotiation functionality and its eight (8) Auto-MDI/MDIX Fast Ethernet ports are able to detect cable crossover and the Store and Forward Switching method. Other key features include IEEE 802.3x Flow Control for Full-Duplex Mode and the Back Pressure Flow Control for Half-Duplex operation. The CNet CSH-800P enables users to reduce cabling arrangement for Wireless Access Points, Voice over IP phones and IEEE 802.3af Powered Devices by providing in-line power through a single cable to minimize access time for installation of Ethernet devices.
