CNet Technology Inc. (CNet) is pleased to release CWR-854 Wireless-G Router (CWR-854) to meet global market demand. With a built-in 4-port 10/100 Base Switch and 1-port WAN connection features, CWR-854 allows wired and wireless LAN users and operators to work flexibly and easily. From the very beginning of the configuration process, CWR-854 provides features such as the Setup Wizard for user-friendly handling, and supports DHCP server, VPN with PPTP, DHCP, PPPoE, etc. in LAN and WAN environments.

The CWR-854 Wireless-G Router complies with IEEE 802.11b and 802.11g standards on the 2.4 GHz frequency band, and enhances operations by permitting you to choose 11b only, 11g only, or 11g+b, or even to enable or disable your WLAN. The powerful WDS allows any user to set up a WLAN environment. As for security, CWR-854 also provides advanced features such as 64/128 bit WEP encryption, WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access), WPA2, RAIDUS server; plus, Fragment Threshold, RTS Threshold, Beacon Interval, Broadcast SSID, and more. Furthermore, since the CWR-854 supports MAC filtering, Port forwarding, and DMZ, it can be configured to function like a gateway.
