To meet market
demand for networking solutions in wired environments in the late
'80s and '90s, CNet designed and distributed a series of
Switch and Hub solutions to response to market trends in America,
Europe, the Middle East, and the Pan-Asia region; and has contributed
to over one million units of wired networking products for home
and SOHO users. CNet was approved by ISO 9001 in 1994,
and has been publicly traded on the Taiwan Stock Exchange since
1995. We extended production lines to our China factory in Wu-Jing
in 1997. With more than one decade of experience in the networking
field, CNet began research on a IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN
series of solutions in 2000, and has since successfully developed
Router, Access Point, and client site devices, such as Card-Bus
adapters, USB adapters, PCI adapters and mini PCI modules that
comply with the Wireless 802.11b and 802.11g standards on the
2.4 GHz frequency band and the Wireless 801.11a standard on the
5.0 GHz frequency band. In addition, when the development of Bluetooth
technology had just begun and standards were introduced for class
1 and class 2 Bluetooth output power, CNet immediately
got involved in the design and marketing of a family of Bluetooth
peripherals, such as, V.1.2 and V.2.0 USB dongle and headset devices.
