Wi-Fi Alliance previously released one Wireless Multimedia (WMM) program that is based on the IEEE 802.11e standard and provides QoS functionality for setting the priorities of real-time multimedia applications. With the built-in WMM's QoS function, CNet's new Wireless -G series of client site products, such as CWC 854 CardBus adapters, CWD 854 USB adapters, CWP 854 PCI and CWM 854 mini PCI modules, enables users to just plug-n-play the devices to transmit high-bandwidth video images, voice streaming, and text data in real-time and on the same wireless network.

Besides QoS interoperability for CNet's client site of wireless solutions, the CWC-854 CardBus adapter: is compliant with IEEE 802.11b and 802.11g standards on the 2.4 GHz frequency band, and boasts such key features as a data transfer rate of up to 54 Mbps and advanced measures for security, such as 64/128-bit WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) and WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access). The CWD-854 Wireless-G USB Adapter provides a fast USB 2.0 interface to transmit and link with inter-net connections up to 54 Mega bits per second allowing laptop as well as desktop pc users to simply plug-and-play their PCs to meet their wireless network demands. Moreover, without a doubt, our CWP-854 PCI and CWM-854 mini PCI modules offer a faster wireless connection for desktop pc users and portable devices that the built-in WEP and WPA security systems.
